Duskwise
1. Who we are
Duskwise is operated by Yiling Labs (yilinglabs.com). Contact: duskwise@yilinglabs.com.
This page is the public privacy policy for the App Store listing, in-app Privacy link, and this website.
2. Summary
- Duskwise generates dark styles on your device. We do not collect browsing history, the pages you visit, or the contents of those pages.
- There is no Duskwise account. You are not asked for a name or password to use the product.
- There is no advertising SDK and no App Tracking Transparency request.
- Purchases use Apple App Store / StoreKit under Apple’s terms and privacy policy.
3. What stays on your devices
Duskwise stores your global mode, default theme, and per-website rules. Those settings live in an App Group so the host app and Safari extension can read them on the same device.
The same settings can sync through your personal iCloud Key-Value Store so the same choices appear on iPhone, iPad, and Mac signed into that iCloud account. iCloud is Apple’s service; we do not operate a Duskwise settings server.
4. Safari permission
The extension asks to access websites only so it can inject dark styles. That access stays on-device. Duskwise does not upload page contents, URLs you browse, or form data to Yiling Labs.
5. Subscription
Duskwise Pro is an auto-renewable yearly subscription sold by Apple. We receive entitlement state (whether the subscription is active) from StoreKit so the app can unlock Pro features. We do not receive your full payment card number. Eligible new subscribers may see a one-month introductory free trial when Apple says the account qualifies. Manage or cancel in Apple Account settings.
6. Feedback
If you email duskwise@yilinglabs.com, we process the content of that message so we can reply. You may include a website domain. Do not send page contents or browsing history. Nothing is sent unless you choose to send the email.
7. What we do not collect
- Browsing history, visited URLs, or webpage content
- Advertising identifiers
- Analytics or crash-reporting SDKs from third parties
The app’s privacy nutrition label matches this: Duskwise does not collect data types for tracking, and accessed APIs are limited to on-device storage such as UserDefaults / App Group defaults.
8. Apple services
When you download Duskwise, subscribe, restore purchases, or use iCloud, Apple processes data under Apple’s policies. We rely on those platform services and do not reimplement them on a Duskwise server.
9. Your choices
- Disable the Safari extension or uninstall the app to stop Duskwise from running.
- Revoke website access for the extension in Safari settings.
- Turn off iCloud for the app in system settings if you do not want settings to sync.
- Manage the subscription in Apple Account settings.
10. Children
Duskwise is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If a child emailed us, write to the address below and we will delete that message where applicable.
11. Changes
If this policy changes, we will update this page and the effective date. Material changes that expand data collection will also be reflected in App Store privacy labels.
